Roadside Station Yanba Furusato-Kan道の駅 八ッ場ふるさと館

Michi no Eki Road Station

This roadside station is located on Hayashi Intersection, between Prefectural Route 375 and the National Route 145 Yanba Bypass, approximately one hour from the Kan’etsu Expressway Ikaho Interchange. Visitors can rest at the natural foot bath here while viewing the spectacular scenery. The Yanba Market has specialties such as freshly picked fruit and vegetables and scarlet runner beans for sale. Visitors can also eat the famous Otsumi Dango Soup and Yanba Dam Curry at the Yanba Cafeteria. The soft cream made with local Asama-kogen milk has a rich fragrance and sweet flavor and is very popular. There are also parking area for exclusive use of visitors spending night in their cars and quick charger for EV.

ツアーで草津温泉に行く途中に寄りました。焼きたてのパンやソフトクリームなど、小腹がすいていたのでとてもありがたかったです。お土産も充実していて、できれば帰りに寄りたかったと思いました。今度行ったら買い物をしっかりしたいです。

草津温泉の帰り道に立ち寄りました。とてもキレイな建物で、産直市場は野菜が豊富かつ格安でついつい買いすぎてしまいました。
お土産売り場にはダムをモデルにしたカレーのお皿があり、お土産に良さそうでした。レストランにも美味しそうなメニューが豊富にありましたが、今回は見送り。次回は食べてみようと思います。

八ッ場ダム建設に伴いできた橋のひとつ不動大橋のすぐ側にある道の駅。
夏休み最後の日8月31日だったせいか大混雑でした。

凄く活気のある道の駅ですね。
八ッ場ダムカレー、丸岩メロンパン、きゃべつ鯛焼き、ソフトクリームなど名物がたくさんあり、大人気でした。
私も鯛焼きを食べましたが美味しかったです。
