Forest of Gunma (Gunma Prefectural Park)

This municipal park is located in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, next to the City loop Gunma no Mori bus stop. The park was built to commemorate the Meiji centennial anniversary and became fully open to the public in 1980. It is well known as a park with many wild birds due to the luxuriant foliage of the trees and plentiful sources of water. In addition to this, the Gunma Museum of Modern Art and Gunma Prefectural Museum of History are located within the park, and a variety of workshops, exhibitions and classrooms are held using these facilities.

群馬の森でウォーキング

いつもは近代美術館の催し物を目当てにドライブするのですが、ただいま近隣の道路も施設も工事中でした。休館の中も公園はウォーキングやサイクリングをする人で賑わっていました。整備された森はウォーキングに最高です。空気も綺麗だし大木の景色、木漏れ日、どれも癒されます。
県立美術館へ

くまのパディントン展を県立美術館に見に行きました。平日のお昼頃の訪問でしたが、駐車場には観光バス数台も停まっており、けっこういっぱいになっていて、混んでいるのかな？と思いましたが、敷地が広いので、混んでいるということはありませんでした。
サイクリング

日陰のサイクリングコースがあり子供には安心。更に、無料の工作が出来、小学生の息子は大満足。広い広場で駆けっこもできるので、お弁当を持って行けば一日遊べるかも。
