江戸時代から続く商家を改装したお食事処

江戸時代の豪商のお屋敷を改装して、旅館とレストランをされています。お客様とのツアーで2階の大広間を利用しました。52畳のお部屋には、高い天井と東西に通る太い大梁を見ることができます。倉敷川に面していて雰囲気抜群。お料理もおいしかったです。ゆっくり宿泊してみたいなあと思いました。

外観から一度は泊まってみたいと思わせるような建物です。時代を錯覚するような素敵な空間です。美観地区の一角にあるので散策を楽しんだ後建物内の素晴らしい見所を探してくださいね。

倉敷の美観地区の倉敷川沿いにあるこちらのお店は、２７０年以上の歴史ある老舗旅館の和風レストラン。ランチの食事は２時まですが和風カフェとして営業しています。私は美観地区の散策に疲れてここで一休みしました抹茶ミルクアズキのかき氷を食べましたが美味しかったですよ。
