  There are many temples in Akizuki, and Honshiogama-ji is one of them. It is very quiet on the premises. Although it is a Buddhist temple, there is a building dedicated to Kishibojin.

• 日焉開山の日蓮主のお寺

  博多の妙典寺の住職日焉が開いた日蓮宗のお寺です。初代藩主黒田長興公の転封に伴って住職も秋月に写り開いたとのことです。道路から長い参道を歩き階段を上がると本堂がありました。神仏習合の頃の名残でしょうか鳥居がありました。

  秋月にある、日蓮宗のお寺。秋月黒田藩の初代藩主に伴って開山した、歴史あるお寺。長い石段の先に本堂があります。このお寺の隣に西念寺があり、石段の前あたりには古い建物を利用したお店が並んでいます。
