- JR宇治駅から徒歩10分程、途中若干の高い坂が有りますので登ると見晴らしが良いです。日蓮宗の寺院ですが観光時という雰囲気は有りません。

- 取り分け特徴もない近代的な寺であったが、掲示板に夏に行われた怪談噺イベントポスターが貼ってあった。寺で聞く怪談噺はさぞかし信憑性があり、身の毛がよだちそうだ。
