    Gaia Restaurant’s Fujisan Fruit Jelly

This luscious treat will take you on a little detour away from the Fuji Five Lakes area to Yamanashi City but it is worth the trip over the mountains. Gaia’s Fujisan Fruit Jelly is beautiful to look at and a flavoursome combination of jelly, fruits, and ice cream. Most of the fruits in the dish are grown locally and the ice cream is made with peaches that are harvested nearby during the summer season. If the weather’s cooperating you can enjoy the sweet jelly mount on your plate with a view of the real Fujisan mountain through the window and across the city.
