VANILLABEANS THE ROASTERY

The fourth location of the specialty chocolate store "VANILLABEANS" is now open in Yokohama Hammerhead. The roastery brings a new concept to the world of chocolate shops as they have a workshop in the store which allows customers to customize their own unique type of chocolate.

Of course you can also just order from the menu and kick back in the café spending a relaxing time enjoying the sea-views outside the window.

The recommended item here is "VANILLABEANS Parfait The Roastery" which is limited to only 10 serves a day (first order is 14:00 so get in on time!). Made exclusively by this specialty chocolate shop, it’s a beautiful and unique chocolate parfait geared towards adult tastebuds.

The CAFE by goodspoon

“The CAFE by goodspoon” is a cafe created by the cheese specialty store "goodspoon" that originated in Yokohama.

When first served, fluffy pancakes, sweet cheese and tapioca are enclosed in a clear plastic wrapping, waiting to be opened. Pull the plastic up slowly and feel your mouth water as the cheese and tapioca slowly ooze out like waterfalls of sweetness over the pancakes. Shoyu Café

Shoyu Café is all about a new type of "raw pudding" (Nama pudding), and it’s so popular that there are queues of customers lined up every day. The core of this new type of raw pudding is an egg yolk on top of a white mousse.
When placing the yolk on top of the mousse, the café staff use a cute chicken-type egg separator, and the rich egg yolk and mousse are finished with a caramel sauce topping. The end result of this combination is an excellent and delicious compatibility of ingredients.
