As you continue walking, you will find a tourist information center before arriving at an area with brown coin lockers.
The lockers here cost 900 yen and are the largest currently available around Shibuya Station while being much wider than the others.

You will find coin lockers with a letter “C”, which are tall, large-sized and cost 600 yen.
As you continue walking, there are numerous coin lockers, with most of the large-sized ones vacant.

In fact, there are more coin lockers as you go down the nearby stairs to the first basement level.
It’s a little bit of a walk and you will have to go down a set of stairs. However, you can also find this area from the ground level of Shibuya Station by going down an escalator at 109 to reach to the first and second basement levels.

Coin lockers are placed on each floor of the Mark City, with a larger number of lockers available on the 4th floor, which also offers easier access. The location can be found on the information map. But be aware that the large-sized lockers are slightly more expensive here at 800 yen.

Refrigerated coin lockers are available on a passage between Tokyu Foodshow and Toyoko Noren-gai.

If you want a more secure way to leave your bags, there are also luggage storage facilities manned by staff.

"Shibuya Chikamichi" is the name of the underpass that connects Shibuya Hikari to Shibuya 109 along the basement level of Shibuya Station. In addition to a luggage storage counter where you can store large pieces of baggage, there are also coin lockers available for smaller items.

Simply go downstairs from Shibuya 109 to level B1F and walk towards the B3 exit of Shibuya Station. You’ll see a flower-shaped ball and the luggage storage counter is on your right-hand side. Daily rates are 600 JPY per piece of luggage, with the counter open from 10 am to 6 pm each day.

In addition, there’s a coin locker handling office at the underground entrance of Shibuya 109 on the 2F basement level. Prices are the same per piece of luggage but it’s open slightly longer hours, from 9 am to 10 pm daily.

Coin Space is a co-working facility that has a luggage storage service operated by the Shibuya Tourism Association. It’s located on the 4th floor of Shibuya Mark City, which is directly connected to Shibuya Station’s Yamanote line. Simply ascend to the 4th floor of Shibuya Mark City using the escalators and you will see Coin Space on your left-hand side.

While the prices for luggage storage are slightly higher at 800 JPY per piece for a day, the space also has a currency exchange machine and sightseeing pamphlets that are useful for visiting tourists. It’s also open later than some other services, from 9 am to 9 pm each day. If you’re looking to get some work done, it’s also ideal, with quiet seating equipped with power and Wi-Fi, as well as smartphone chargers available.

Shibuya Mark City

Karaoke Pasela is a popular karaoke chain that has branches across Tokyo and Osaka and offers a convenient late-night baggage storage option. The Shibuya brand is just three minutes’ walk from Shibuya Station and is right in front of Tower Records.

You can deposit your luggage here from noon and pick it up anytime during the night until early the next morning. It’s ideal if you’ve got an early morning flight but want to spend one final evening exploring Tokyo, without having your luggage in tow.

Prices are 1000 JPY per piece for a 24-hour storage period, with Karaoke Pasela open from 11 am or 12 pm until 6 am or 8 am, depending on the day of the week. After depositing your luggage, you can head out to explore Shibuya or book in for a karaoke session at the venue.
