    Kakizaemon is a restaurant run by one of Japan’s finest oyster producers. It is located in Tsuchido, Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. The restaurant boasts a range of dishes using the freshest seafood caught in the Seto Inland Sea, such as large, flavorsome Hiroshima oysters, sea bream, octopus, conger eel, rockfish and stonefish. Popular dishes include their hearty servings of deep-fried oysters and oven-baked oysters, as well as their seafood rice bowl lavishly topped with the finest white fish. Guests can enjoy a relaxing meal while listening to some jazz in this modern Japanese restaurant refurbished out of an old historical building.

    Walked along the waters to find this place just for its oysters - they have their own farm and factory so the oysters are guaranteed fresh and good! Didn’t disappoint at all. Strongly recommend going...
