- Kakuozan Apartment is an old two-story apartment with a wood construction more than 50 years old which has been remodeled and is now host to many shops full of personality belonging to artists and creators. Rental space is also available, and since it is used as a place to present different creations, it is a place to encounter many different works. It is located approximately three minutes on foot from Kakuozan Station on the subway Higashiyama Line.

60年以上前に建てられたアパートを改装し、「クリエイター」の工房、ショップとして活用している事例です。覚王山商店街の一筋西側、「尾張四観音」を結ぶといわれる通称「四観音道」に面しています。各室以外の「旧共用部」にも展示があり、作品が販売されているがようです。本日は休館日ですが、仮に営業していたとしても私個人としてはあまり興趣がわきません。

ちょうど桜山に用があったので何があるか調べてるとここが出てきました。地元の人が利用する感じみたいです。味はまあまあだと思いますが特に特筆するべきなものでもなさそうです。

Aichi Areas

Castles are easy to find in this history-rich prefecture, but the highlight for history buffs has to be the Museum Meiji-mura, where preserved buildings from the turn of the 20th century are displayed in all their grandeur in an outdoor museum.
