- A mountain located in Akiruno City a 30 minute drive from the Akiruno Interchange renowned for its bigleaf hydrangeas. There's a hiking course a 40 minute walk from JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station in the city of Itsukaichi that is visited by around 10 thousand people during the blooming season from mid-June to early July. The mountain is private property. Some 10 thousand bigleaf hydrangeas, diligently cultivated by the mountain's owner, cover its steep slopes. The silence of the forest and the magnificent blossoms of the hydrangeas create a magical panorama that soothes visitors to the mountain. A climbing fee used for mountain maintenance and upkeep is required to visit.

東京郊外の花畑として知る人ぞ知るところです。あくまでも水田の活用のため、チューリップ畑になってもオランダのチューリップ畑のような密集した感じはありませんが、それでも色とりどりの鮮やかさに癒されます。
