    A log house style farm restaurant nestled in the middle of the natural surroundings of Nakasatsunai Village in Kasai County, Hokkaido. The restaurant serves homemade dishes where you can taste the true flavor of vegetables such as their home-grown cabbage, etc. Popular dishes on the menu are pork ginger with plenty of sweet tasting pork and vegetables, and potato gratin. Customers are obliged to take off their shoes when entering the restaurant so it’s a nice, comfortable place to relax especially with young children in tow. Farm produce and vegetables are also on sale.

    夫はポークソテー、私はキーマカレーを食べました。お料理、もちろん美味しいのですが、特に野菜がおいしかったです。観戦対策もバッチリで、安心して食事できました。 行ったのが1時半過ぎていたので、週替わりランチプレートが終わってたので、残念。窓ぎわに飾ってあるお人形たちも可愛らしく、窓から見えるお庭も綺麗で、良い気分になりました。お店の人も親切。オススメですよ

    A cafe area inside the expansive Tokachi Millennium Forest natural garden. Here you can eat pastas and pizzas made with an abundance of fresh vegetables grown in the garden. The cheese used with the cafe's pizzas is also homemade in the garden. The cafe's blueberry tarts, overflowing with blueberries, are a limited time item only available when blueberries are in season. The cafe also sells soft serve ice cream and cheese made with goat's milk, a rarity in Japan.

    Restaurant HIRO is located in Memuro Town, Kasai County. They have an extensive menu with carefully selected local ingredients, including new local gourmet cuisine like Tokachi Memuro Corn Fried Rice which has attracted media attention. Limited to 10 meals a day, their Chef's Select Plate Lunch is good value with a meat or seafood dish that changes daily accompanied by a small appetizer, small pasta dish, dessert, and a drink. The owner-chef's oldest son, the Kid Manager, had a hand in creating their popular Bambino Kids Lunch.
