大佛殿

此為奈良市「東大寺」的佛堂，為日本國寶。其正式名稱是「東大寺金堂」，為了安置以「奈良大佛」著稱的本尊盧舍那佛坐像而創建，是境內最大的建築物。盧舍那佛像是高約14.7公尺的銅製佛像，有部分為天平時代建造之初的原物。大晦日（日本的除夕）到元旦期間，正面唐破風（設置於建築物入口上方的弧狀屋頂）下方的觀相窗會開啟，可由外向內看見大佛的臉部。
