After visiting a Nambu ironware workshop, you can enjoy coffee made with Nambu ironware at a nice coffee shop. It is said that the lord of the Nambu clan in Morioka invited a kettle maker from Kyoto to make a kettle for tea ceremony in the 17th century. You can visit a Nambu ironware workshop and enjoy hot water or coffee made with Nambu ironware. Why not try drinking a drink made with Nambu ironware and feel the difference? Morioka is also famous as a city of coffee shops. It was selected as a ‘city to visit‘ by the New York Times in 2023. ★ If you are unable to visit the workshop, you will visit several private workshops instead of the manufacturing process. ★ On days when the coffee shop is closed, the plan will change to tea at another coffee shop, or to visiting a popular coffee shop in Morioka instead of Nambu ironware. ★ Customized plans are also available, so please contact us.
