A long-established bakery well known in Kure and founded in 1936. The striking building painted in a melon color is located in Hondori, Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture. Their famous melonpan is a rugby ball shaped cake filled with the bakery’s specially made cream. Customers have been drawn to the taste, size, soft and fluffy texture, unchanged since the shop first opened and more often than not it’ll be sold out early in the day. The shop also sells many other kinds of bread and cakes like their heiwapan with castella sponge and strawberry jam.

呉で有名なパン屋さんと紹介され行きました。何となく懐かしい味でコスパも良くお勧めですが、残念なのは、日曜日が定休日です。

地元の友人おすすめで行きました。呉に来たらとりあえずよってます。昔ながらのメロンパンやあんパンが落ち着く味です。外観がかわいい。

ザ・昭和を感じられる地元のパン屋さん。本店では、個人的にはサンドイッチやハンバーガーといった惣菜系がおススメ。バラエティあってコスパ高いと思います。二人で2千円くらい買ってしまいました。
