Hamamatsu Zoo
A city-operated zoo in Chuo-ku, Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Come see almost 100 different species including the largest exhibit of primates in Japan. This zoo is famous as the only location in Japan where the small Golden Lion Tamarin is kept and raised. A special night safari event is held where you can feed and touch the animals, making this a popular place to bring children on weekends and holidays.
