Jogasaki Blues Monument

Other Sightseeing Spot
This magnificent lava rock coast extends for some nine kilometers. Along it is the 48 meter-long, 23 meter-tall Kadowaki Suspension Bridge that spans the sea between Hanshiro Otoshi and Kadowaki Cape. Next to the bridge is the Jogasaki Blues monument, one of the coast's points of interest. The monument was created to commemorate the increase in tourism in the area caused by the release of the 1968 smash hit Jogasaki Blues by mood kayo music group Akira Kurosawa and the Ross Primos.
