Kottaro Marsh Observatory

Observatory / Outlook
Among the vast Kushiro marshlands, ancient nature can be especially felt at the Kottaro marshland. This observatory is popular because visitors can see the reed and sedge wetlands, the meandering Kottaro River, countless scattered small marshes, and wild birds such as cranes and herons. The road in the vicinity is a narrow, gravel road, so please be careful when visiting by car.
