Lake Kamakita
A lake situated along Prefectural Route 186 in Moroyama Town, Iruma County, Saitama Prefecture. Created in 1935 to serve as a reservoir for agricultural purposes, this artificial lake is approximately two kilometers in diameter. The lake is surrounded by abundant, seasonal beauty, including cherry blossoms in spring and fall foliage in autumn; it also serves as the starting point for the 11 kilometer long Okumusashi Nature Trail. In addition, visitors can enjoy boating and fishing for Japanese crucian carp.
