A fairy tale museum in Kobuchizawa Town, Yamanashi Prefecture. Come meet the works of Higashi Kunpei, a well-known author of children's stories who passed away prematurely. Sink into the world of the stories as simple nostalgic inducing black and white illustrations and picture book drawings are presented on display with the text that accompanies them in the stories. The museum shop offers a number of goods that can't be found anywhere else including stuffed toys of picture book characters and calendar prints.

アットホームな感じで美術館と言うより、君平さんのお宅におじゃましているような感じです。前庭の花達が訪れた私達に優しさを分けてくれます。また行きたい❣️
手作りで温かみのある小さな童話館

東君平さんの『びりびり』という絵本が好きで、小淵沢に行ったついでに寄ってみました。奥様が運営なさっている小さな童話館で、個人宅の1階を展示室になさっているようです。周囲は別荘地で木々に囲まれており、家の前の庭にはコスモスが咲き乱れていました。童話館には絵本の原画以外に切り絵も展示されており、個人的にはシュールな切り絵が気に入りました。オルゴールの優しい音色が流れる部屋で絵や切り絵を眺めてい...
