This natural hot spring, rich in nature and close to Takasaki City in Gunma Prefecture, is about 30 minutes from Matsuida-Myogi Interchange on the Joshin-etsu Expressway. The facility provides accommodation or can be used as a day spa or for parties. At the spacious restaurant under the unique octagonal dome-shaped roof, visitors can taste the famous “kamameshi (flavored rice cooked in a small pot) and in autumn and winter the “Okkirikomi” (noodles cooked in a pot with vegetables). The famous secret hot spring “Seseragi-no-yu” is colorless and transparent when it bubbles to the surface, but over time changes to a reddish-brown color. Visitors can leisurely enjoy the dense cloudy hot spring that changes depending on the time and the weather.

久〜しぶりの相間川温泉。連休で混在かなと思いつつ行って来ました。駐車場には沢山の車が…。でも、入口から沢山人が出て来て一安心。6時頃は狙い目かな？タイミングよく、ラッキー！気候も最高で、露天風呂は気持ち良くの〜びり。気持ちいい温泉、ありがとう。

平日に利用する事が多いかな高崎市民は安く利用できます。個室もあります。釜飯が美味しいですよ冬はイルミネーションしており綺麗です。

ここより１６キロ位上にある倉渕温泉には泊まったことがあるのですがこちらの宿泊は初です。日帰りでは２度お邪魔しました。内風呂には常に浴槽内外に人がいておしゃべりの花を咲かせているのと、露天の方が私的に好みなので日帰りの時は露天メインで入ったのですがとにかく濃度が高い。３分以上入るべからず！みたいな注意書きがユーモラスに何枚も貼ってあり、帰路の配慮で３０分ほどで入浴を済ませました。・・・が...
