교토만큼이나 뛰어난 명성을 자랑하는 나라현은 “옛 일본”의 흔적을 보고 싶다면 반드시 가봐야 할 곳입니다. 초록빛의 나라시는 현의 보물 대부분이 모여 있는 곳으로, 15m 높이의 대불상이 있는 그 유명한 도다이지 절과 사슴이 행인들과 친구처럼 노니는 나라 공원 등이 있습니다. 산이라면 이 지역에서 어렵지 않게 찾아볼 수 있지만 올라가는 보람을 느끼고 싶다면 봄에 흰색과 분홍색 벚꽃이 인상적인 기이 산지의 요시노 부근을 가보길 추천합니다.
