A five-minute walk from Kamimachi Station as well as the Kamimachi bus stop. This museum is located on the grounds of the Setagaya Daikan Yashiki and, having been opened in 1964, is the oldest public local history museum in Tokyo. The museum's collection of items includes materials from outside the ward that are related to the ward's history. In addition to a standing exhibition on the history and culture of Setagaya Ward, the museum also has a video booth where you can watch videos on the ward. In addition, the museum holds indoor and outdoor history classes for ward residents.

2023年2月15日訪問、入口の掲示板（添付写真参照）に 2022年4月1日-2023年3月31日迄改修工事の為休館との案内がありました。隣接する[世田谷代官屋敷]は見学可能ですが [世田谷区立郷土資料館]を目的として訪問計画されているのであれば 4月1日以降に訪問する必要があります。
小さな資料館

世田谷区が設置している小さな資料館です。このあたりの歴史がコンパクトに展示されています。名物のボロ市に関する資料は、ここならでは。
趣のある建物

ボロ市の開催している通りにありました。無料にて、休憩のつもりで入りましたが、２階まである展示は中々見ごたえがありました。ボロ市の歴史も分かりますよ。
