"The deep undersea valley ""fuke"" in Toyama Bay nurtures plankton from rivers and is a good fishing ground for fish. In particular, the continental shelf has developed off the coast of Himi, and the Himi Fishing Port boasts the largest catch in the prefecture. The Himi Fishing Port 2F Fish Market Restaurant, which offers fresh seafood, opened in April 2018 (Heisei 30). Using fish directly from the auction house, the specialty is the ""Himi Hama-don"" (Himi beach bowl). It is open from 6:30 to 15:00 for breakfast and lunch."

This restaurant is in the fish market so depending on the time, you may see how fishes are traded. Fishes are off course very fresh and cost effective.

2023年のお盆休みに来ました。どこも大渋滞で、到着したら13:30。15:30までと書いてあったので余裕かと思いきや、丁度私たちを、最後に予約終了。そこから待つ事約1時間。食べ終わる頃には15:30。なるほど。15:30まで予約受け付けではないので、ご注意下さい、

氷見漁港に併設されている食堂です。魚市場の建物の2階に入っています。市場関係者でなくても利用でき、その日に水揚げされた富山湾の新鮮な魚介を使った料理を出してくれるので、大人気の食堂です。店内は結構広く、テーブル席の他に座敷席も用意されています。私が訪ねたのは平日の早朝だったのでかなり空いていましたが、休日には大混雑するようです。なお、メニューはありますが水揚げの状態によっては出来ない料理があるよう...
