Tokuriki Tomikichiro Woodblock Print Museum

Memorial Hall
This memorial hall is dedicated to the achievements of Tokuriki Tomikichiro, one of the best multi colored woodblock print artists, and his deep connection with Ise. His works on the Shima Peninsula of Ise covered events and scenery for all four seasons, taking 365 days and resulting in over 1,500 pieces. In the hall the collection is displayed in rotations according to different themes. There is a corner selling postcards as well as an attached tea-room where you can take a break. In the same building you’ll also find a hall dedicated to Yamaguchi Seishi’s haiku.
