Yatoro-onkan
"A coffee shop operated by Matsumoto Hotel Kagetsu which can be reached by leaving Matsumoto Castle via the Kuromon gate, walking along Daimyocho-dori Street, and taking a left at the first intersection. The cafe's name, literally meaning the ""86 warm hall,"" is derived from the nel drip coffee the establishment serves made with 86 degree water. The lunchtime hashed beef, a Kagetsu original also served in the I;caza restaurant, is particularly recommended. The establishment mainly serves simple fare made with local ingredients such as old-fashioned egg salad sandwiches and a farm vegetable black curry. Customers can also enjoy seasonal sweets such as shaved ice in summer and chestnut confections in autumn."
