You can freely pick them from here. The strawberry picking house is located on a plateau at an altitude of 1,000m, so the difference in temperature between day and night produces strawberries with a rich flavor. Through the time-consuming cold treatment (exposing the strawberries to the cold) and manual bud picking (thinning), the yield will be lower, but we are using our craftsmanship to create strawberries with a richer flavor that you have never tasted before. . Please enjoy this experience that can only be enjoyed in Karuizawa to your heart‘s content. All the strawberries in the strawberry greenhouse are grown in a clean elevated structure, so picking them is easy. About 10 minutes by car from Nakakaruizawa Station, it is located in the firefly village with a great view on the majestic Mt. Asama. *Starting this season, we will charge an admission fee as a facility maintenance fee. The price is the picking and harvesting experience course (1,500 yen, the same price as last season) + admission fee (500 yen for facility maintenance cooperation).
