This island, located about 1.5 hours from Nagoya, makes for an excellent day excursion. Enjoy a pleasant day of photography surrounded by open skies and blue ocean, and be kissed by ocean breezes.

    Access to Himakajima

    From Nagoya Station, transfer to the Meitetsu Kowa Line and ride for about 45 minutes until Kowa Station. Take the high-speed ferry at Kowa Port to arrive at Himakajima in about 20 minutes. One-way fare to the island costs 1,400 yen.
