This resort facility is located in a part of the Murou Akame Aoyama National Park. The vast resort space spreads out over three million square meters centered on the Menard Aoyama Hotel. Its draw is the green landscape that covers Takayama Kogen at a height of 600 meters and the fresh air. You can get panoramic views of mother nature, relaxing everyone who visits. There is a hot spring and indoor heated pool in the facility, and there are also recreational facilities such as a golf course and experiential workshop. In addition, there are places to come into contact with nature such as an herb garden and firefly pond.

This large park is situated on the border between Mie Prefecture and Shiga Prefecture. The park's 50 thousand-square-meter grounds, rich in natural beauty, are replete with open grass fields, an outdoor stage, and facilities for enjoying outdoor activities. The open grass field sprawling on the park's north side has a waterside area which makes use of recirculated pond water and, depending on the season, you can see fireflies dancing here. There's also a neatly maintained cookhouse with stove and sink facilities, and many groups of people and families with children come here throughout the year. Another nice thing is that the park has five cottages which all outfitted with air conditioning, fan heaters, and refrigerators.

Mie Areas

around-area-map

Spread across the eastern side of the Kii Peninsula, Mie prefecture boasts hundreds of kilometers of pretty coastline comprising the oyster-rich Toba city and Shima National Park all the way down to Kumano, a city that marks the beginning of part of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, which runs into neighboring Wakayama prefecture. However, Mie is best known for the Ise Jingu Shinto shrine inland, one of the oldest and largest shrines in the country.
