Shukugawa Park
Shukugawa Park is an urban park laid out along the banks of the Shukugawa River in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture; with beautiful seasonal flowers to see, it is very popular with local residents. Rows of cherry trees (including Yoshino and hill cherry varieties) line both banks for a distance of around 2.8 kilometers, and the Park has been selected for inclusion in Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots. Renowned as one of the best places for viewing cherry blossom in the Hanshin (Osaka and Kobe) region, in late March and early April Shukugawa Park is thronged with families and couples that have come to enjoy the cherry blossom. The Park has toilets, but no parking. The nearest station is Shukugawa Station.
