位於沖繩和平祈念公園內的博物館兼資料館。本館興建目的是為了告慰沖繩戰役中的眾多犧牲者在天之靈，並將戰爭之殘酷與和平之寶貴傳達給下一代，促進建立永久和平。常設展示室除了有戰爭的實物資料及照片面板之外，也展示戰爭經驗者的證言集、證言影像等。
