靜岡縣往南是廣闊的太平洋、北部則有富士山，在這裡可以看到全日本最美的景色。伊豆半島的白色沙灘在日本本州極為罕見，旁邊還有美麗的峭壁、綿延起伏的山丘和天然溫泉。靜岡縣是日本最大的綠茶產區，源遠流傳的茶飲傳統在此盛行，從綿延數英里的茶園到舉辦傳統茶會的古老茶館皆可窺見一斑。
