此為1928年在鶴岡八幡宮境內開館的歷史、美術博物館。館內寄放著鄰近神社寺院的雕刻、繪畫、古文書等各種代表性作品，並加以保管及展示。本館建築已被登錄為日本國家登錄有形文化財。

Quiet little museum tucked in the outer grounds of Hachimangu that feature mostly Kamakura treasures of all shapes and sizes. Fascinating collection of temple statuary. Well worth seeing out.
