Our restaurant is located in Fuji Kawaguchiko Town, located in the Fuji Five Lakes area of Yamanashi Prefecture, and is holding a hands-on class where everyone can make and enjoy Yamanashi‘s local cuisine. We are open every day with the hope that tourists visiting Yamanashi will learn about Yamanashi‘s food culture and history, and that it will be one of the memories of their trip to Yamanashi. Our staff will carefully support you so that even beginners in cooking and small children can enjoy participating. We are used by many customers not only for small groups such as private trips, but also for group trips such as school trips, company trips, and sightseeing tours. Please come visit our store when you are in the Fuji Five Lakes area. ☆★Introducing the hotou making experience☆★Hoto is loved by many people as a local dish of Yamanashi Prefecture. There are few local foods that are as popular as this one, and ``oneri in the morning, barley rice in the afternoon, and pumpkin hotou in the evening‘‘ seems to have been the standard for daily life in Koshu farming villages for a long time. In 2007, it was selected by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries as one of the ``Top 100 Local Dishes of Rural Areas,‘‘ which has been passed down to rural areas throughout Japan and is widely supported by the people. Hoto noodles are different from regular noodles in that they do not need to be left to rest. Therefore, the noodles are made by hand from the powdered state. The very popular [Yamanashi Set] comes with Koshu‘s specialty chicken giblets and Fujiya‘s brown sugar syrup soybean flour mochi. The content is quite extensive, so please come hungry. Our store also offers a dyeing experience where you can experience traditional Japanese dyeing techniques using natural materials, which can be used as a set with the hotou experience. During the dyeing experience, we will explain each step in detail, so even those who are new to dyeing and those who come with children can participate with confidence.
