Explore a castle town Kanazawa with a local guide.
It is believed that Kanazawa city was founded in mid 16th century when the Honganji Temple built here its branch temple as a missionary base.
Late 16th century, Maeda Toshie established Kanazawa castle in this area, and since then it prospered as a castle town of Kaga Hyakumangoku.
The city still retains its old-world atmosphere and beautiful traditions as it was a merchant city.
