  竹原市の邸宅のなかで一番立派な邸宅でした。大正時代の建築ですが、純和風です。部屋数が多く、縁側からは庭園も楽しめます。

• 趣きのある部屋

  竹原町並み保存地区のほぼ入口に近いところに建てられている。明治前期の塩田経営を背景にした富豪・山路家の母屋を対象時代に移築したもの。座敷・茶室・土蔵などがそのまま残っている。入館料300円。
