平戸荷兰商馆是1609年至1641年迁移至长崎出岛的33年间，在作为荷兰贸易港口而繁荣的平户建造的商行。为了保管贸易的货物，1639年建造的石造仓库是日本第一座西式建筑物，外观与荷兰建筑物类似。这个外观对于日本人来说是非常奇特的，因在破风（山墙顶封檐板）刻入了公元年号等，因此江户幕府采取了拆除措施。2011年开业的“平户荷兰商馆”，忠实地复原了该建筑物。可以看到当时贸易相关的资料。
