日本二十六圣人纪念馆

日本二十六圣人殉教地是在1597年，因丰臣秀吉发布的基督教禁令，圣芳济会的6名修道士与20名日本信徒被处决的山丘。因为这里十分像耶稣被钉在十字架上的各各他山，因此提出了在此殉教的请求，此后也有众多传教士、信徒们在这片土地上被处决。1962年，建造了镶有二十六圣人等身大青铜像的纪念碑。1950年，罗马教皇比约十二世将此地正式定为天主教徒的朝圣地之一。
