  Beautiful cherry trees within the shrine area:A must see during the sakura-season. Also beautifully located at the Uji-River - really worth a visit.

• Scenic walk along Uji

  Ujigami Shrine was famous and easily accessible by visitors. The environment was peaceful but the shrine was small.

• Not the most exciting shrine, however, you never know what will go on the day you visit

  There are lots of top 10 lists of the popular shrines and temples in the area. As long as one in my immediate geography, it never hurts to spend a few minutes to wander through one; wash your hands...
