พิพิธภัณฑ์ศิลปะซึ่งอยู่ติดกับ “สวนนางาซากิซีไซด์พาร์ค” แห่งนี้ มีบรรยากาศที่น่าประทับใจด้วยความโปร่งโล่งที่นำเอาสีเขียวของต้นไม้และแสงสว่างเข้ามาใช้ อาคารออกแบบโดยคุมะ เคนโกะผู้ออกแบบสตาร์บัคส์สาขาดาไซฟุและศูนย์วัฒนธรรมและการท่องเที่ยวอาซาคุสะ และได้รับรางวัลมามากมาย อาทิ รางวัลกู๊ดดีไซน์อวอร์ด สิ่งจัดแสดงหลัก ๆ ได้แก่ของสะสมของสึมะ ยาคิจิโร่นักการทูต ซึ่งมีผลงานศิลปะที่เกี่ยวข้องกับนางาซากิ และผลงานศิลปะของสเปนอยู่เป็นจำนวนมาก เดิน 2 นาทีจากสถานีรถราง “เดจิมะ”
