A pink landscape and strawberry picking—a Chichibu day trip for spring
You cannot speak of Chichibu in spring without mentioning the pink-flowered moss phlox. The flowers spread across the landscape, creating a fluffy carpet of pink that is a photographer’s dream. There is no other place in the Kanto region to see moss phlox on this scale. Chichibu in springtime also offers a feast for the five senses, including strawberry picking and gorging on locally grown organic vegetables.
