Nice view, nice area, but not worth paying an entrance fee for.
Could get a photo through the fence to the side.

I went solo for this trip., and was not able to get inside but i did see it from the bay side., looks mysterious and just a peaceful aura :)

Went in mid-December and had the entire place to ourselves. The temple grounds are rather small, but theres nothing stopping you from walking out to the floating temple and gazing out at Lake Biwa...
