- Beautiful shrine in the centre of Iwanuma. Packed on holidays and for special family events, but serene at other times.

- Takekoma shrine is called one of the three great Inari shrines in Japan. 15 minutes walk from Iwanuma station. Its not big, but soothing. Famous poet Basho came to Iwanuma, and made a Haiku.
