Beautiful Minakami area activity resort
Beautiful place and location. About 2 hours from Tokyo, and the tolls were maybe 50$ (we drove) Really cute BBQ (yakiniku style) towards the end of our day. Superb staff. Would definitely recommend.

Rafting adventure for young kids
Great experience, fantastic location, professional team all round. Double bonus is the local swimming hole. Only 2.5 hours door to door from Tokyo!
