호소미 미술관

교토시 사쿄쿠에 있는 일본의 고미술을 중심으로 전시하는 미술관. 1998년 개관. 사업가이자 일본 미술 수집가인 호소미 고코안에서 시작된 호소미 가문 3대의 수집품을 전시하고 있다. 신도와 불교 미술, 다도 미술, 에도 회화 등 일본 미술의 거의 모든 분야와 시대를 망라하며 그 수는 1000점에 이른다. 다채로운 기획전도 개최되고 관내에는 다실과 상점, 카페도 병설되어 있어 미술 애호가의 휴식처로 사랑받고 있다.

A hidden gem

Small but exhibitions with exquisite taste. Beautiful woodcuts and paintings in an intimate setting. Well worth your time to spend hours there without being rushed or hurried.
