기노사키 보리짚 세공 전승관

기노사키 온천 마을에 있으며, 효고현의 전통 공예품으로 지정되어 있는 '보리짚 세공'의 역사적 작품이 전시된 시설이다. 보리짚 세공은 약 280년 전에 기노사키 온천에 탕치하러 온 장인이 대나무 피리 등에 색이 물든 보리짚을 붙여 판매 한데서 시작된 것으로 보고 있으며, 관내에는 메이지 시대부터 쇼와 시대 초기까지 제작된 약 200점의 작품을 볼 수 있다. 가볍게 그림 접시와 열쇠 고리를 만들 수 있는 체험 코너도 인기가 있다.

Went to the straw museum and was impressed to learn that straw can be made into so many beautiful art pieces. The cutting of the straws is so intricate. Amazing.
