이누야마시에 위치한 야외 박물관. 근대 일본의 기반을 구축한 메이지 시대의 건축물을 중심으로 이전·공개하고 있다. 이루카 연못에 인접한 광활한 구릉지에 사이고 쓰구미치 저택, 성 요하네 교회당 등 국가 중요 문화재로 지정된 건축 및 철도 기념물, 근대화 산업 유산을 다수 전시. 증기 기관차, 교토 시전을 타거나(유료) 메이지 시대의 하이칼라 의상을 입고 기념 촬영(유료)을 하는 등 체험 시설도 다양하다. 20명 이상의 단체에 한해 메이지무라 전체를 무대로 한 ‘리얼 인생 게임'에 참여할 수 있다(예약 필수).
