오즈죠 성

가마쿠라 시대 말기에 가신 우츠노미야 도요후사에 의해 세워졌다고 하는 성. 그후 축성의 명인 무장 도도 다카토라에 의해 개축되어, 이요오즈번의 정치와 경제의 중심지로서 성곽마을이 번영하였다. 노후화로 인해 천수각은 1888년에 해체되었지만 그후 2004년에 복원. 충실하게 재현된 목조 복원 천수각이 되었다. 부엌누각, 남쪽 성루 등 4개의 누각은 국가 중요 문화재로 지정되어 있다.

A castle in the middle of town.

At last, a castle in the middle of town. Not mountain climbing, just a gentle stroll. Inside is just average, but its a pleasant enough place to stop off for a coffee.
