히로시마현 히로시마시에 있는 일본은행의 과거 영업소. 원폭 중심지에서 불과 380m 밖에 떨어지지 않은 거리에 있었지만, 견고한 건물이었기 때문에 거의 원형을 보존하고 있다. 피폭 2일후에는 영업을 재개, 1992년까지 사용되고 있었다. 현존하는 피폭건물 중 하나로서 히로시마시의 중요 문화재로 지정되어 있으며 일반공개되고 있다.

Bumped into this walking through the city streets, dont know if it had access, I didnt see any. it looks old enough to have been one of the surviving buildings, but dont think so.
Worth making the detour, if only to view the contrast between then and now!

Worth making the detour from the nearby A-Bomb Dome to this Former Bank of Japan, if only to view the contrast between then (1945) and now. Today it is just an interesting old building...
