미야지마 역사 민속 자료관

하쓰카이치시에 위치한 자료관. 이쓰쿠시마 신앙으로 알려진 다이라 가문 및 미야지마의 역사와 문화에 관한 자료, 민속 문화재 등을 보존·전시하고 있다. 인력거, 원통형 우체통, 기념 주걱 등, 과거의 미야지마 사람들의 생활상을 엿볼 수 있는 자료가 풍부하다. 건물 일부는 에도 시대 후기부터 메이지 시대에 걸쳐 번영한 호상 구 에가미 가문의 안채와 창고를 보수한 것을 이용하고 있다. 안채에서는 연못이 있는 아름다운 일본 정원도 감상할 수 있다. 이쓰쿠시마 신사 출구에서 도보 3분.

I haven’t planed to visit this one, but happy i did. It shows ordinary life tools, worship tools, a traditional Japanese house and all sort of ancient scrolls . A very pleasant and interesting...
Well worth a visit

We were quite surprised with this Folk museum. It does not look like much from the outside but it is beautiful inside with a lovely garden. Definitely worth a visit.
